To enter, visitors simply need to enjoy a lunch or supper at any participating restaurant, write their name and contact details on the back of their restaurant bill and place it in the Dine to Win entry box located inside the restaurant.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DINE TO WIN COMPETITION

1. The Dine to Win Competition (“Competition”) runs from Saturday, 1 August to Monday 30 September 2026 (“Competition Period”). Entries close at the end of Mall of Africa’s trading hours on 03 September 2026.
2. The Competition is open to South African residents who are 18 years or older and possess a valid South African identity document or passport.
3. To qualify, participants must dine at any of the Mall of Africa restaurants participating during the Competition Period and receive a valid, itemised restaurant bill. The Competition applies to qualifying lunch or supper purchases.
4. For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, a participating restaurant is a Mall of Africa restaurant displaying Dine to Win Competition material and providing an official Dine to Win entry box during the Competition Period.
5. To enter, participants must clearly write their full name and contact details, including a valid telephone number and email address, on the back of their original restaurant bill and place it in the Dine to Win entry box located inside the participating restaurant where the bill was issued.
6. Only original, clear, legible and verifiable restaurant bills issued by a participating Mall of Africa restaurant during the Competition Period will be accepted. Card slips, bank notifications, quotations, duplicate bills, handwritten notes or other documents that do not constitute a valid restaurant bill will not be accepted.
7. Participants may enter more than once, provided that each entry is supported by a separate qualifying restaurant bill. The same bill may not be submitted more than once, and bills from different transactions may not be combined or reused.
8. Ten winners will receive one R1,000 Mall of Africa gift card. The total prize value is R10,000.
9. The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. The gift cards are subject to Mall of Africa’s applicable gift card terms and conditions, including the stated validity period.
10. The ten winners will be selected by random draw after the Competition closes on 5 October 2026. The draw will be conducted under the supervision of an independent person appointed by Mall of Africa.
11. Potential winners will be contacted using the telephone number or email address provided on their entry.
12. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours after reasonable attempts, fails to provide the required verification or does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, the prize will be forfeited, and a replacement winner may be drawn.
13. Potential winners must provide proof of identity.
14. Personal information collected will be used to administer the Competition, verify entries, contact winners and award prizes. It will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 and will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to administer the Competition or where required by law.
15. Winners may be invited to participate in publicity relating to the Competition but may decline without forfeiting their prize.
16. Employees, directors, agents and suppliers of Mall of Africa, its managing agents, participating restaurants and companies directly involved in the Competition, as well as their immediate family members, may not enter.
17. By entering, participants confirm that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. Mall of Africa reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with these requirements and may amend, suspend or terminate the Competition where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary, subject to applicable law.
