This October, Mall of Africa is joining forces with PinkDrive NPC to shine a light on breast cancer awareness, early detection and the importance of access to healthcare.
Throughout the month, Mall of Africa will provide a platform for PinkDrive to connect with shoppers and the wider community, sharing vital information about cancer prevention, early detection and the importance of regular health checks.
From 6 to 31 October, PinkDrive will be at the Digital Box, located between Doppio Zero and EL&N, where shoppers can learn more about the organisation, support its work and get involved in the campaign.
PinkDrive’s work is grounded in a simple but powerful message: Early Detection Prolongs Lives. Through its mobile healthcare units, the organisation takes cancer education, awareness and screening services directly to communities across South Africa, helping to address some of the barriers that can prevent people from accessing essential healthcare.
At Mall of Africa, we believe that our spaces can be more than places to shop, dine and spend time together. They can also be platforms for meaningful conversations and initiatives that have a positive impact on the communities we serve. Partnering with PinkDrive allows us to help bring an important message to thousands of people throughout October.
The campaign will give shoppers and tenants opportunities to learn more about cancer, support PinkDrive’s work, and become advocates for early detection and healthier communities. PinkDrive merchandise will also be available at the Digital Box, allowing visitors to contribute directly to the organisation’s ongoing work.
As part of the campaign, Mall of Africa will also be lighting up its roof in pink and adding pink touches throughout the centre, creating a visible reminder of the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Whether it is starting a conversation, learning something new, supporting PinkDrive or encouraging someone you love to prioritise their health, every action can make a difference.
Visit PinkDrive at the Digital Box from 6 to 31 October and join Mall of Africa in turning awareness into action this Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
